I just wrote about the press release announcing the weekly re-airing of the Biggest Loser.  This interesting bit of information was also revealed in another release by Robert Seidman

The new deal brings a significant portion of “The Biggest Loser” library to FLN and makes the network the exclusive cable home to the hit show’s upcoming season, launching on NBC on September 16th. FLN will air each new installment on Saturdays and Sundays at 9 pm et/pt beginning September 20th. FLN will also be the exclusive cable home of “The Biggest Loser: Couples” when it launches next year.

Cool.  An upcoming edition of the show will be a Couples Edition.  It will probably take the same form as this season’s Family Edition with one trainer taking married couples and another trainer taking engaged couples.

The real question is will this Couples Edition be slated for January or next fall?  I do not think January will be a Couples Edition, but I could easily be wrong.  If anything it could be next fall.  However, I have not heard that the show has been renewed for next fall yet.  I guess we will have to wait and see.
