I just finished listening to your audio and its making me hyped for the SLC casting call. A couple of questions is that I’m am currently unemployed but I am going to school full time. Also the casting call is from 8am-4pm is it ok to go later in the day or is it preferred to be there exactly @ 8?

I was at the open call audition this weekend in Los Angeles. I was interesting and I hit all the tips you mention in here with out having read this blog first. when the interviewer asked the question “What do you want out fo the Biggest Loser?” My answer was simply to get back in the Army. That would be quite the accomplish ment to go from 235 to fighting fit again.

Hey Pete! My brother is going to the casting call tomorrow in Tampa. This season is for family members but my brother doesn’t have anyone to go with him. The website says you can still come if you don’t have a partner so I am wondering if he still even has a chance? He really needs to lose weight, he is close to 500lbs. His Doctor said if he doesn’t lose weight he might not make it past 25….. he just turned 25 in May.

I have gotten a call back and now am on the process of sending bio, but from what I read on other post, you’ll know if you’r going to be on the show, b/c they’ll inform you during the call backs that you’re being pitched. How true is that? Is it a good sign if you’re getting call backs or is this a protocol they must follow?

Hi Pete,

It was great to meet you and Shellay at the Detroit CC. I was the very first person to sit down with a casting director (first in the VIP line). Unfortunately, I blew my chance. I was too excited, too enthusiastic, too loud and too weird. One woman said she was from Frankenmuth, the Chicken Dinner capital, and I shouted, “Woo, I love you!” (I meant to say, “I love Frankenmuth”…how embarrassing!). Should I now submit a videotape or try again at the CC in Columbus on Saturday? Do you know if there are VIP passes for the Columbus CC, and if so, who do I contact for them? Jacqueline Topacio sent the last one. Is she my best bet?

Pete – I’ve made it past the casting call, past the one on one interview, and only a few days after my interview, now I’ve been asked to submit a video, background checks, and bio. Where in the process am I??? How close am I to being on the ranch this season? What is the next step after this? Thanks for answering my questions…I’m absolutely freaking out excited!
