Pete Thomas Rides 162 Miles in Support of the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure Event! !


ADA-MN-PhotoAnn Arbor, MI– Pete Thomas, Season 2 At-Home Winner of NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” teams ups with the American Diabetes Association for two Tour de Cure events in June 2011! Pete will ride 62 miles with the BL360 Team June 4, 2011 in Minnesota and will lead Team BL 360 in a 100 mile ride for Tour de Cure in Brighton, Michigan on Saturday June 11th. Pete will also serve as the keynote speaker at the Tour de Cure VIP Party on Friday, June 10, 2011.

Sponsored by the American Diabetes Association (ADA), Tour de Cure is a fun bike ride fundraising event that the whole family can participate in. The Tour De Cure event offers complimentary breakfast, rest stops, with snacks and drinks, celebrity riders, lunch by Carrabba’s Italian Grill, massages, kids’ zone, silent auction and live entertainment. Individuals and teams are encouraged to fundraise and sign up to ride one of several routes from 10 to 100 miles. A fundraising goal of $350,000 is set for this year’s ride.

The event will include four different rides: 10 mile ride, 25 mile ride, 62 mile ride and a 100 mile ride. Registration is $25 dollars and $35 on event day.
